Knowledge Section Reworked
The structure of the knowledge section is reworked now. Access to my conference papers and presentations will be kept and maintained as before. The main reason for the relaunch is the dissemination of my understanding of systems engineering based on human cognitive capabilities and limitations. The goal is to establish a systems engineering framework providing a scientifically validated framework for comparing alternatives how to conduct systems engineering by providing responses to corresponding why-questions.
As I always have been interested in psychology and the humanities, the processes, methods and tools I have developed and applied throughout my professional life serve as guidance for achieving adequate conciseness and comprehensibility. They are also the first candidate to validate the evolving framework. In fact, I even have learnt a lot improving my understanding of systems engineering. I call the result Theory of Systemgestaltung. Over time, an outline version, The Art of Systemgestaltung, will become available via the knowledge section.
At the recent German systems engineering conference TdSE I presented a paper concerned with the limits of systems engineering. It is compiled in German titled Grenzen des Systems Engineering. For the future I plan to write a number of essays published in the scope of the knowledge section that will disseminate the content of papers originally compiled in German in the English language.
