INCOSE International Workshop 2016

The sign “No Alcohol” shown by the photograph on the left can be found at the shores of the Pacific Ocean near Malibu. I have taken it end of January when I travelled to California for attending the INCOSE International Workshop (IW) 2016 in Torrance. “No Alcohol” is a friendly reminder to all surfers and swimmers that they do not have to fear the additional danger to drown in a liquid of lower density than salt water, isn’t it? I would not be surprised, if your associations differ from mine: an increased safety risk for drunken surfers and swimmers, or a demand by the neighbourhood to ban noisy parties of drunken people at the beach, or …
