Dieter Scheithauer

Dieter Scheithauer has studied electrical engineering with special emphasis on automatic control at the Universität der Bundeswehr München. He received the degree of a Diplom-Ingenieur univ. in 1980 and a doctor’s degree (Dr.-Ing.) in 1987.

Towards his professional life, he has gained comprehensive experience and advanced knowledge about automatic control, the development of high-integrity technical control systems with the primary focus on flight control systems, and the definition and implementation of effective and efficient systems engineering processes.

He is a former president of the Gesellschaft für Systems Engineering e.V. (GFSE) – The German Chapter of INCOSE. He became an INCOSE CSEP in 2010, and an INCOSE ESEP in 2012. He is a Honourable GfSE member.
